I hadn't heard these guys until I happened to see them on their tour with UNTO OTHERS in Akron at a venue called The Vortex (I was told this place used to be a JUICE BAR + STRIP CLUB???). I wasn't sure what to expect. My eyes were getting watery it was so fkn good. Classic heavy metal with a great sound and great melodic vocals. Perfect stage energy. The guitarist was flying around and the mini-DORO PESCH vocalist was moving around the stage, just commanding the whole place with dragon fire coming out of her mouth.
The vinyl version with two songs (The Fear, Tortured Earth) comes in a really nice gatefold sleeve and the CD version comes with two extra songs, Paris Is Burning And Too Scared To Run. The Fear is an upbeat melodic ripper and Tortured Earth is a mid-paced stomper predicting the downfall of humankind on Earth. This is a band to watch for in 2022, they are working on an album that is probably going to blow the lid off this fkn place.
