Ahret Dev- Hellish (Life After Death) Review

In 1997, I was jamming the shit out of stuff like this but goddamn that euro market was a tough one to crack if you weren't on one of the big labels. Massive albums like this slipped past hillbilly fuckers like myself. Had I encountered a copy, I would have thought "sick fuckin' triangle".

This album is way better than a sick fuckin triangle though. This is the kind of band that some how got dealt a bum hand. All music genres are loaded with stories of bad distribution, finding God, or break-ups. It can be messy and timing is everything.

That said, while Ahret Dev is a cool historical footnote, it rips. Ahret Dev kinda reminds me of Sinister but with a hint of classic brutal death metal. Glad to see this get a reissue. It deserves it.
